Canadian privacy law gives you practical choices about information held by the Canadian Insurance Registry.
1. Your rights
Subject to legal exceptions, you may ask what personal information we hold about you, request access, ask us to correct inaccurate information, request deletion where appropriate, and withdraw consent where processing depends on consent. You may also ask questions about our practices and challenge an answer.
2. How to make a request
Choose the request that fits. Each link opens an email to the Buy Calls Inc. Privacy Officer. Buy Calls Inc. currently receives Registry requests through its established AutoVoice privacy mailbox; the subject line identifies the Canadian Insurance Registry so the request can be routed correctly.
Include your name, the email address associated with your account or submission, enough detail to locate the relevant record, and your preferred response method. Do not email government identification numbers, financial account details, passwords or licence-document scans unless the Privacy Officer specifically requests a secure method.
3. Verification and timing
We may need reasonable information to verify identity and protect another person’s information. We will explain any fee permitted by law before proceeding, respond within the period required by applicable law, and explain extensions, refusals and available review options.
4. Public professional records
The Registry is designed to preserve authoritative professional information and source history. A deletion request may therefore result in correction, suppression of personal contact details, or an explanation rather than complete removal. We may retain public professional data where necessary for registry integrity, legal obligations or a reliable historical record.
